v2.0.4
Public release 30 SEPTEMBER 2026The first public update since 2.0.1. It includes the 2.0.2 and 2.0.3 changes previously available to Patreon members, plus the saving, sensor and editor fixes below. If you already use 2.0.3, those earlier additions are already in your build.
Since the public 2.0.1 release
- ▸USB output sends changed parts of the picture instead of sending the whole screen each time. Panel Mode can target a supported USB screen while the editor stays in the tray. Full-screen animation remains limited by the screen connection.
- ▸Newer widget packs can contain their own designs, multiple sensor channels and animation settings. Existing v1 packs and generic v2 recipes still load.
- ▸Larger, clearer editor controls, horizontal Properties tabs, property search and alignment guides. Copy selected widgets to another profile and remove imported fonts from Properties.
- ▸Panel Mode fits small displays and restores the editor size and zoom when you leave. Linux decorative widgets repaint after returning to the editor.
- ▸Sensor readings show appropriate units and precision. CPU voltage, Ryzen temperature selection, duplicate hardware identification and Linux Vulkan/Proton FPS have received fixes.
- ▸Media widgets accept videos up to 250 MB. Import and export report missing or unsupported content, and exports retain the media used by the profile.
- ▸Settings and media get checked recovery copies on upgrades. An optional startup delay and expanded Diagnostics help with PCs running other sensor software.
- ▸Windows installer, Linux AppImage, DEB, RPM and Arch packages are available. Install statistics and their persistent identifier have been removed.
New in 2.0.4
- ▸Replacing or clearing a background can no longer be reversed by an older import or duplicate operation finishing late. Final saves wait for pending work when the app closes.
- ▸Upgrade recovery copies include settings saved by 2.0.3. Locked, damaged or inaccessible settings files have safer recovery paths; a temporary lock no longer selects an older backup over newer settings.
- ▸The Windows reader skips invalid sensor values. Automatic restart watches valid snapshots, and Diagnostics distinguishes stalled readings from a healthy reader.
- ▸Library previews recover after visibility and graphics-context changes. Multi-selection Min/Max edits preserve each gauge or graph’s untouched limit.
- ▸USB screen selection remembers device identity and refuses a changed or ambiguous target. Video widgets continue feeding USB output while the editor is hidden, and stalled readings stop presenting old values as current.
- ▸Per-core widgets imported from another PC retain their separate channels. Ryzen sensor names, colour-rule reset behaviour and Linux process rules for Proton games are corrected.
- ▸Linux launches share one settings lock even without a session bus. Package and runtime checks cover the supported build baseline.
Compatibility: the editor needs 1280 × 600 logical pixels after display scaling; use Panel Mode on smaller screens. Direct USB output remains experimental and depends on the controller revision. Native Lian Li 8.8-inch USB support is not included. OpenGL-only games do not use the Linux Vulkan FPS layer, and GNOME Wayland does not expose window titles for title-based rules. Hardware-specific sleep/wake faults can still need diagnosis. Windows and AppImage offer in-app updates; DEB, RPM and Arch users install the new package.
